Want to work for a cutting-edge, multi Sony Award-winning education and radio charity ? the Prison Radio Association?

We?re looking for a super-organised, motivated, bright, enthusiastic, intelligent person to fill an exciting role within the organisation.

Acting as an ambassador for the Prison Radio Association, you?ll be passionate about our aims and be able to nurture relationships with partner organisations.

You?ll understand the behaviour of radio audiences, and the specific needs and issues surrounding the prison population ? or be keen to develop this understanding.

The PRA is looking for a talented individual to develop National Prison Radio?s social action campaign calendar and to coordinate the delivery of support to PRA key stakeholders.

You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills and have experience in devising and delivering successful outcome-driven campaigns. You will be a solid and confident communicator, preferably with some knowledge of media production, ideally radio, and an understanding of media for development issues.

Working closely with the PRA?s Senior Management Team and team of professional radio producers, the successful applicant will:

? Develop and coordinate National Prison Radio?s social action campaign calendar and produce and distribute off-air support materials for prisons across England and Wales.
? Measure and report on the effectiveness of its campaigns against the PRA?s Evaluation Strategy.
? Act as the PRA?s main point of contact for prisons and other partners, and develop a stakeholder support strategy, including producing high quality resources for individuals working in prison radio.
? Take the lead on the organisation and management of the PRA?s annual conference and awards ceremony.
? Develop the PRA?s website into a comprehensive resource for stakeholders and as a means of sharing best practice ? generate, publish and manage content to support the work of National Prison Radio.
? Manage the content and production of National Prison Radio?s Monthly Book Club and e-newsletter.

With the confidence and drive to fit into a talented, tight-knit team at HMP Brixton (or possibly HMP High Down in Surrey) working in what can be a challenging, exhilarating environment, you will be motivated by the knowledge that your work has the potential to make a real difference.
